RoboLab: robotics skills lab
A practical lab where students and people changing careers learn to assemble, set up, diagnose and repair robots, with AI as a learning tool.
Why now
Entry-level office and software jobs are shrinking, while robotics companies cannot find technicians and engineers.
How it works
From the first lesson to a robot of your own.
Learn with mentors
Practical modules in the lab with engineers as mentors, from robot anatomy to diagnostics.
Build your first robot
Each participant assembles and sets up a robot of their own. It becomes their portfolio.
Go to work
Participants leave with a working robot and the practical skills robotics companies need.
What participants learn
Six topics, from the parts of a robot to repairing it.
What a robot is made of
Structure, links and materials.
How it moves
Joints, motors, gearboxes and balance.
What it senses
Cameras, LiDAR, inertial and force sensors.
How it decides
Control, ROS 2 and AI models.
Where it works
The tasks and industries robots are used in.
How to fix it
Diagnostics, typical faults and repair.
Five real robots, before the hardware
Participants take each robot apart in a headset, put it back together and fix typical faults. An AI voice tutor answers questions. A test before and after each lesson shows what was learned.

Who it is for
Students
Students of technical schools, colleges and universities, who get little hands-on practice on real equipment during their studies.
People changing careers
People moving into a new profession. Without a guided path, robotics has a high entry barrier.
Robotics and industrial companies
Specialists with practical skills are scarce. Companies hire graduates and bring real tasks to the lab.
Who runs RoboLab
A cooperation of a robotics company and a student platform that runs hackathons and educational events.
Robotic Guys
A robotics company headquartered in Poland, working across Europe: robot sales and integration, service, education and content, and free data on the robotics market.
